چکیده
Nile tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) is one of the most important commercial freshwater fish in China, and dietary transition occurs their different life stages. The gut microbiota to host health. relationships among diet, microbiota, development are not well known. In present study, we attempted understand how diet associated with community dynamics during tilapia. first experiment was performed under standard laboratory feeding operation determine effect on intestinal microbiota. second experiment, were fed Artemia or plant-based dry (PBD) food from started late juvenile stage (90 days post-fertilization). results showed that habit had a low intestine. negatively affected survival rate phylum Planctomycetes dominant PBD food. Fusobacteria Artemia. At genus level, Gemmobacter , Pirellula Planctomyces belonging Planctomycetes, significantly abundant guts diet. Cetobacterium Thus, can conclude types have great intestine early microflora established tilapia, approximately 2 months after hatching. Our provide useful information for experimental design studies microbial gut. We suggest modulation could be life.

Efficiency of eugenol as anesthetic for the early life stages of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
In aquaculture, activities with anesthetic compounds are usually used in order to ensure the welfare of farmed fish, allowing handling out of water with decreased trauma by stress. Presently, there is no information about anesthetic action of eugenol in early life stages of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The objective of this study was to evaluate different concentrations of eugenol for ...
متن کاملFive Different Piscidins from Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus: Analysis of Their Expressions and Biological Functions
Piscidins are antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) that play important roles in helping fish resist pathogenic infections. Through comparisons of tilapia EST clones, the coding sequences of five piscidin-like AMPs (named TP1∼5) of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, were determined. The complete piscidin coding sequences of TP1, -2, -3, -4, and -5 were respectively composed of 207, 234, 231, 270, and...
متن کاملCascading effects of introduced Nile perch (Lates niloticus) on the foraging ecology of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.) is the dominant of the introduced tilapiines in many East African lakes and has flourished in the presence of introduced Nile perch (Lates niloticus L.). We explored the hypothesis that O. niloticus exhibits increased omnivory in response to a decline in abundance of haplochromine cichlids. First, we quantified variation in habitat use and diet of O. nilo...
متن کاملEffect of Different Salinity Levels on Growth and Survival of Nile Tilapia (oreochromis Niloticus)
A three months study was conducted in cemented tanks (2.896ft×0.762ft×0.914ft) to investigate the effect of different salinity levels on growth performance and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Four salinity levels i.e. 1600 ppm in Treatment 1 (TI), 2400 ppm in TII, 3200 ppm in TIII and 4000 ppm in TIV were maintained while in control (T0) the salinity level was 800 ppm. Each tr...
متن کاملThe Expression Pattern of Melatonin Receptor 1a Gene during Early Life Stages in the Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
The action of melatonin within the body of animals is known to be mediated by melatonin receptors. Three different types of melatonin receptors have been identified so far in fish. However, which of these are specifically involved in puberty onset is not known in fish. We cloned and analyzed the sequence of melatonin receptor 1a (mel 1a) gene in Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus. In addition, ...
